For almost the independence of India, the Indian Supreme Court has not commented on the work of any prime minister. However, he broke the record yesterday when the Prime Minister asked why there was a delay in processing 2G Raja scam accused the minister.
Telecom minister Raja was accused of 2G spectrum licenses to companies that are not eligible and that too at very low prices. The opposition parties since the last few days have been crying foul before the lack of action against the accused minister.
Janata Party President Dr. Subramanian Swamy, November 29, 2008, asked the Prime Minister to seek sanction to prosecute Raja. However, there was no response from the Prime Minister until March 19, 2010! A petition was filed on why the PMO gave no response.
The Supreme Court ordered the Attorney General of India to file an affidavit in the case on behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister. SC wanted to know why it was total silence in the PRC during all these months. The Court has also used strong words such as "inaction" and "Silence," referring to the Prime Minister.
As a result of this memorandum of SC was informed that the prime minister should resign. However, the PMO has denied these rumors. Now everything is Prime Minister defuse the situation and to reassure the opposition. He tried to call them solution lunch yesterday, but it seems that the opposition is far from satisfied.
